MEGA MOPAR ACTION CROSSES THE FINISH LINE AT MAPLE GROVE

Over the weekend, Maplegrove hosted a plethora of Mopar fanatics, racecars and show vehicles. Under sunny skies, the weather may have been hot, but the action on the track was even hotter! In what has become familiar to anyone who follows the Hemi Challenge, Charlie Westcott Jr. emerged victorious. Even the man himself, “Big Daddy” Don Garlits was on hand to race his Challenger Drag Pak and pick the show winners. With tons of rare and fast Mopar iron in the pits, there was something for every Pentastar aficionado and we are already looking forward to next year’s event at the “Grove”.

MEGA MOPAR ACTION HITS THE GROVE WITH SOME SERIOUS HEMI® HORSEPOWER THIS WEEKEND

Mega Mopar Action hits the pavement at Maple Grove Raceway this Saturday and Sunday. Along with the coolest rides coming out for the show field, the starting line will be getting an extra dose of VHT as the fastest HEMI® Super Stockers in the country will be battling it out for cash prizes but more important, bragging rights. There’ll also be late-model muscle class so participants can run their new Challengers, Chargers, 300s down Maple Grove’s fabled quarter-mile strip were Mopar icons like Don Garlits, Sox & Martin, Dick Landy and many more pioneers from the golden era of drag racing made a name for themselves. Our newest supporter, Dante’s Mopar Parts, will be sponsoring the A, B and E Body restored classes at the car show. So pack your bags, grab your buddies, and head to one of the quickest and most scenic tracks in the East for some great Mopar fun!
